samples and ideas that will work best in your space, so you can see them where they will
be used. We will also be able to measure your windows, and give you a proper quote

Lorraine Principi I am one of your in home design
consultants at Blinds Are Us. I have been helping my clients
with their custom window covering needs for over 20 years. While
completing my bachelor’s degree at McMaster University I started
working for a home décor retailer and looked after all aspects
of decorating for my clients. It was fascinating to me how the
right window treatments could completely transform a room. Since
then I have helped thousands of clients all over Southern
Ontario with their window covering decisions.
With each new year I take ongoing professional training courses
provided by various industry leaders. I have gained a wealth of
knowledge over the last 20 years and I continue to learn every
day with each new client that I meet. I have seen many changes
in this industry and it has been exciting to be a part of it.
There has never been such a wide product offering and as the
choices continue to grow, the need for the right guidance grows
as well. This is why it is more important than ever that clients
utilize the services of our in home design team.
It can be stressful and overwhelming to try and sift through all
of the possibilities available and making the wrong choice
becomes an expensive mistake. I firmly believe that what has
made me so successful all of these years and what keeps my
clients coming back is my ability to relieve that stress from my
clients. This only happens by asking the right questions,
listening intently to the answers and then knowing the products
well in order to find the perfect fit. No matter what the
challenge, there is always a perfect fit!

I will have
been in the window covering industry for 15 years. I can say
that it has been an exciting series of events. I started in
sales with one of the known window covering manufacturers.
Servicing accounts through out South Western Ontario
and some areas north of the GTA. This sales experience was an
education in what I believe all customers want and deserve, a
good value for their dollar accompanied by excellent professional service.
In 2004 I
joined the Blinds Are Us team as an In Home Decorator. My eye
for colour and balance, tied with the fact that I have a very
technical background was a perfect match for both myself and
Blinds Are Us.
I understand that
decorating a home, can sometimes be a little overwhelming for
some, especially when it comes to window coverings. The window
covering industry is continually changing and I continuously
educate myself to stay current with today’s trends, in both
fashion and technology. Yes, technology, a blind is not just a
blind. Technology comes in many shapes and forms. Window
Covering technology can range from having a motorized window covering
with sun sensors to a manufactured material that does not emit off gases (VOC’s), is
mildew resistant or flame retardant, and can be recycled when
it’s time to once more, re-decorate. Let me be the one to offer

She is a CDecA Certified Interior Decorator with decades of
knowledge of experience in the Window covering and design
industry. She specializes in colour consulting, window
treatments, space planning, staging and accessories. She is
versatile with all styles. If you have a vision, she will make
it happen for you, if you don't she will help you see it!
